Coverage Of Boston’s Rethink Music Conference

image from t3.gstatic.com I'm getting on an early morning flight to Boston for MIDEM and The Berklee College of Music's new conference Rethink Music, If your there today or tomorrow, please say hello.  Our coverage, with some help from Patrick May, begins mid-day with first impressions via Twitter (@hypebot) They've corralled an impressive lineup of high level participants (and me) for some substantive discussions on the future of the music industry.

Panels and conversations with the likes of U2 manager Paul McGuiness, WMG head Lyor Cohen, Creative Common's originator Lawrence Lessig and Vevo's brilliant Rio Carreff along with panel conversations about new business models.

A special bonus includes private evening entertainment from artists including Ben Folds, Amanda Palmer, and OK Go's Damian Kulash who are collaborating on an album recording project at the conference.
