MySpace Launches Mobile Site, iPhone App Next

MySpace today launched a mobile version of its web site at m.myspace.com that improves the user experience on all smartphones. The company also promised an iPhone app within weeks. A third of users already interact with their service via a mobile device, according to MySpace. Details:

The new Myspace mobile website is accessible on all iPhone, iPod Touch, Android, Palm and select Nokia and BlackBerry devices and provides users with:

• Music: Breaking news and status updates from top artists
• Video: TMZ, Fuel TV, FOX, National Geographic, Movie Trailers and more
• Celebrity: Status updates, photos and blogs
• The ability to easily share photos, videos, links, status updates and more across multiple networks
• Log in is no required.
