Bandize Leaves Beta With A Bang

Bandize left beta this morning with a strong suite of new online features and tools designed to help artists organize the business of being a band.

A sleek and intuitive interface guides users through setting up an intergarated system that you and your bandmates can use run your band's business.  Show dates, accounting, merchandise inventory tracking, contacts, product management and tasks can all be tracked and shared online using Bandize.

In addition to the site makeover, with the launch comes these new features:

  • Import existing shows from Myspace
  • Import contacts from Outlook, Apple Address Book, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, CSV, and vCard
  • Download and print a PDF day sheet and/or tour book
  • ICS calendar feed for syncing dates from Bandize to Google Calendar, iCal, Entourage, Outlook, etc.
  • A log of conversations without having to manually log them. (Email integration using BCC to auto associate and notate external emails with existing Bandize contacts.)
  • Internationally-friendly. Users can set time zones and currency preferences on their account

Bandize is priced at $15 per month with an unrestricted 30 day free trial. There are discounts for managers and agents whith multiple artists.

  1. The combination of tour/gig management with inventory/product management and a central calendar is pretty damn fresh.
    At World Around, we’ve been using Bandcamp for over a year to get our site off the ground and keep the project intact. I was definitely skeptical of this program but the features are pretty much a wish list for us…anyone already using it have some feedback to offer?
