Terra Firma Wins Bid For EMI

Just before today’s 1PM local deadline, UK investment firm Terra Firma announced that it had received the 90%  EMI shareholder approval needed for its £2.4bn ($4.9 billion) takeover.

The remaining stockholders are now obligated to accept the 265 pence per share offer. (more)
