WMG’s Bronfman Questioned For Insider Trading
Warner CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr was questioned for more than 10 hours by a Paris court last Thursday regarding alleged insider trading at Vivendi Universal in 2002.
Bronfman who in ’02 was a board director at Vivendi, was questioned regarding his sale of Vivendi shares just prior to the company starting a buyback program which analysts anticipated would be followed by a sharp drop in share prices, according to French newspaper Les Echos.
