What they’re looking for: Minimum 3 years in website creation / management experience. Experience with tools and languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Drupal, SQL, Flash, SVN, Unix Shell required. Skills in Information Architecture, User Interface Design and E-Commerce are strongly preferred.

This is the tech department of the entire company. Because of that, "a degree of patience, enthusiasm and passion is necessary. You’ll be an uber-geek amongst a lot of music fans. Knowledge and Ability Required

– XML, XHTML Transitional/Strict, CSS 2
– PHP 4/5
– MySQL 4/5, phpMyAdmin
– Telnet, SSH, SVN
– Web Production knowledge (e.g. graphic optimization)
– Linux/Solaris/UNIX system knowledge
– Apache familiarity (.htaccess etc.)
– Mailing list management
– Able to pickup new technologies / approaches / processes as required.

Desired Knowledge and Abilities

– Mac OS, Photoshop, Illustrator
– Flash 8+ ( ActionScript 2.0 )
– Video preparation / optimization
– Drupal 4/5, WordPress, PHPTemplate familiarity
– DHTML, XmlHttpRequest, jQuery, Dojo, Mochkit
– SVK, CVS, Perl, Ruby
