If Paul McCartney can sign with Starbucks, then…
Soul rocker Joan Osborne has inked with direct marketer Time Life for a new studio album due May 22nd. "Breakfast In Bed" is an homage to the great Soul and R&B songs of the late 60’s and early 70’s and contains of cover songs as well as originals written by Osborne in a style faithful to the classics. Osborne, whose hit "(What If God Was) One Of Us" propelled her to the top of the charts in 1995 selling 5 million copies worldwide and garnering 6 Grammy nominations.
Time Life will combine its direct marketing muscle with a traditional retail.
