The A&R Merry-Go-Round Spins Faster

According to The A&R Registry, the recent reorganization at Sony has resulted in two of their divisions 
closing (Sony Urban and Sony Classical) and over eleven A&R staffers in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville being let go. At Sony Urban, Anton Marchant & Jennifer Gray exit the A&R Dept. while the other members of the A&R Dept. move over to Columbia. Additionally, Michael Caplan and Jay Landers move to Columbia from the Sony Label Group while Keith Naftaly joins Epic from Sony.

There were also recent A&R departures at Universal. Universal South has been restructured and Tim DuBois and Tony Brown will both be exiting Universal South.
