This Week’s IndieStore Picks

7digital_logo_2UK based IndieStore (owned and operated by 7 Digital) offers a simple and inexpensive way for independent artists to make music available for download, connect with fans and keep most of the revenue.  The result is a treasure-trove of great undiscovered music and with IndieStore’s help we’ll be featuring a few each week on Hypebot:

Leno Goldstein ‘Up The Wall’We can’t stop listening to the gob-smacking ‘Up The Wall’ by these self-proclaimed ferocious pop dandies. Want a peg to hang it on? Kinda John Lydon fronts Roxy Music. Should be adored in much the same way The Libertines were. Superb.

The Vimpto Kid ‘Soma Line’No information other than the four uploaded tracks. No picture, no nothing. But what a find. Gentle song writing serving up thrumming acoustic loviness… a hint of I Am Kloot perhaps? Have a listen. Music to plain take your breath away.

Delia Spiers ‘Ravens Bay’ –  Just the one track on her indiestore, but what a track. And what a voice rich, warm and individual, we’re liking Delia’s nu-folk as we think we’re about to start calling it.. More music on your indiestore please young lady.
