Mercury Prize Announces Nominees

The nominations for the UK’s highly respected Mercury Prize have been announced. Chosen by a panel of judges headed by Simon Frith, the overall winner will be announced on September 5th.

The nominees are:

Thom York – The Eraser

Last year’s wunnner was Antony & the Johnsons’ I Am A Bird Now.
