Apple Unveils More Affordable iPod Nano & Shuffle Models
In a move to counter price drops but it’s competitors, Apple today unveiled a new 1GB iPod Nano for $149, offering the same features as the 2GB and 4GB models but holding only 240 songs or 15,000 photos. The new 1GB Nano’s design is thinner than a #2 pencil and features Apple’s popular Click Wheel technology plus the same color screen as other iPod nanos. Apple also announced that the slightly bulkier iPod ]Shuffle is now more affordable with the 512MB and 1GB models priced at $69 and $99 respectively.
The iPod is the world’s most popular line of digital music player with over 40 million sold.
