Bruce Springsteen Hits The Big Screen
Bruce Springsteen and his team have always found smart yet classy ways of keeping the star in the spotlight and to monetize his fame and musical output. So it’s only natural that Springsteen will take to the big screen with the premiere of selections from his upcoming, digitally remastered box set, "Born to Run 30th Anniversary," for one night only in 59 movie theatres nationwide on November 14.
The 90 minute Bruce Springsteen Big Screen Concert event features documentary footage chronicling the creation of "Born To Run," including extensive archival footage of Springsteen and the E Street Band recording the album, the 1975 concert film and other footage shot between 1973-1975 as well as interviews with those involved. The show features exclusive video of Springsteen playing solo piano and guitar versions of songs from "Born To Run" as well as highlights from the now legendary concert at London’s Hammersmith Odeon on November 18, 1975. In newly shot footage from Asbury Park, NJ, Springsteen discusses his personal feelings about the making of the iconic album in great depth.
Bruce Springsteen On The Big Screen will be presented by National CineMedia, Sony/BMG and Network LIVE digitally remastered in High-Definition and Cinema Surround Sound at participating Regal, United Artists, Edwards and Georgia Theatre Company movie theatres across the country.
