Ken Antonelli Abruptly Resigns At RED

Acccording to today’s HollywoodReporter.com, "Ken Antonelli, president of the leading U.S. independent record distributor RED Distribution, has abruptly resigned from the company, a spokeswoman for the company confirmed Friday. Antonelli, who joined the Sony BMG-owned indie as senior vp and general manager in 1996, was named president in 1999….No official reason was given for Antonelli’s departure. However, sources indicate that the distribution chief had experienced philosophical differences with his superiors at Sony BMG…".
