In the latest live music industry news, Peter Shapiro’s live music and media company Dayglo Presents, have announced three promotions: Stephen Grybowski as VP Marketing & Family Programming, Bradley Tucker as VP Business Development, and Sarah Graber as HR & Administrative Director.

Grybowski began his journey as an intern at Relix in 2012 and now serves as Vp of Marketing & Family Programming at Dayglo while continuing to lead as Executive Director of The Rock and Roll Playhouse, a renowned national family concert series developed by Shapiro.

Tucker has played a pivotal role in shaping some of the industry’s most iconic venues, festivals, and media properties. As VP of Business Development at Dayglo Presents, he will oversee business strategy and growth for a diverse portfolio, including Bearsville TheaterBrooklyn Bowl (New York, Las Vegas, Nashville, Philadelphia), The Capitol TheatreGarcia’s (Port Chester, NY, Chicago), Lockn’ Farm, major festivals and events, and e-commerce. Tucker is also the Creator and Producer of the Relix Music Conference.

Stepping in as Human Resources and Administrative Director is Sarah Graber. She is also is an active member of the fundraising committee for Positive Legacy, a non-profit organization dedicated to integrating music and service to benefit people and the planet.

Independent venue and festival primary ticket company See Tickets US has rebranded as EVENTIM. following its acquisition by CTS EVENTIM Group in June 2024.

Building on the foundation established by See Tickets US, EVENTIM continues to operate with the same team and remains a dedicated partner of the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) 

EVA, the ent-tech company that connects performers with corporate and private events, is celebrating its 10th birthday this April with a mini-festival called EVAlution

Set for April 16th at East Nashville’s Eastside Bowl, the mini-festival will feature genre-spanning live performances from artists within the EVA community, surprise pop-up sets, interactive art installations, and more.

Overall, EVA’s booked more than 2,000 events nationwide, and worked with over 2,100 entertainers, artists, and speakers including Trace Adkins, Natasha Bedingfield, Hank and John Green.

But most of the talent EVA works with are working performers building their incomes with well-paid corporate events. Singer-songwriter Tabitha Meeks calls EVA the reason she was able to buy her house. One band, The Magi, say they wouldn’t still be a group if not for EVA and the Moga Family Band credits it with their rise in popularity,

• EU trade group LIVE (Live music Industry Venues & Entertainment), has underlined its commitment to eradicating misogyny in the live music Industry, with a four point strategic plan backed by all 15 member organisations.

This plan was launched in response to the last UK Government’s rejection of recommendations made in the Misogyny In Music Report from the Women And Equalities Committee (WEC),

The Green Events & Innovations Conference (GEI) drew 400 delegates to the Royal Lancaster London for the 17th edition on February 25th hosted by A Greener Future, CEO Claire O’Neill and Director Teresa Moore.
