New Bandsintown ticket presales empower any artist to launch presales for shows and tours while retaining control of the fan data regardless of the ticketing platform.
Previously, most contact info collected on the fans and superfans seeking access to presales was not shared with the artist.
The new Bandsintown ticket presales feature expands on previous functionality allowing artists to create Releases for events, music, and merch. Hundreds of artists, including Chappell Roan, Childish Gambino, Vince Staples, Tinashe, and Kehlani, have collected contact info on tens of thousands of fans.

How Bandsintown Ticket Presales work
Artists can publish tour dates using free Bandsintown for Artists tools, making it easy for fans to sign up with their email and phone number to be automatically notified when they can buy presale tickets, regardless of the ticketing company used by the venue.
Musicians retain ownership of all fan contacts collected.
All events are also recommended to relevant fans from Bandsintown’s 90 million registered users and distributed to more fans through integrations with Spotify, Google, and Apple including Shazam, Apple Maps, Apple Music, and Apple Spotlight Search.
