Pandora Listeners Added 1 Million New Music Stations In First 24 Hours

Pandora’s New Music Stations surpassed 1 million station adds in 24 hours after launching last Wednesday. That's an impressive milestone and great exposure for the emerging artists added weekly to these stations.

Last week Pandora added 9 curated weekly playlists of newly releases designed to promote music discovery. In the first 24 hours after launch, Pandora users added more that 1 million stations.

Each week, Pandora's music team will handpick recently released music for each New Music Station blending emerging, underground and well-known artists across 9 genres. The curators will add context dj style via audio drops and a new music blog.
