Over the last few months, we’ve been thrilled to partner with Dualtone Records to offer PledgeMusic campaigns for their great catalog of new releases from The Lumineers to Leagues to Oh Pep! Now they’re giving vinyl lovers an exciting new way to add to their collections with a dynamic new subscription service. Vinyl Den is a monthly vinyl subscription that not only includes all of Dualtone’s new releases and reissues but includes the staff’s favorite non-Dualtone titles as well.
“Our label staff is made up of music fans,” says Paul Roper, Dualtone’s President. “There are records that we have loved over the years or more recent releases that we have respected and think fit the Dualtone aesthetic, even though the artist may not be on the label per se. The hope is to turn people on to records and artists they may have never heard of or add a record to a collection that every vinyl lover should own.”

Past titles include Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats self-titled album, The Tallest Man on Earth’s ‘Dark Bird Is Home,’ Strand of Oaks’ ‘HEAL,’ Dawes’ ‘All Your Favorite Bands,’ Loretta Lynn’s ‘Van Lear Rose’ and Ryan Adams’ ‘1989’
Your Vinyl Den subscription features one new LP per month. The rate is $25 per month, but 3, 6, and 12-month subscription deals are also available for a discount. Subscribers can also expect exclusive access to limited-edition, colored vinyl pressings, including recent offerings like a silver and black starburst vinyl of The Lumineers ‘Cleopatra’, a gold burst vinyl of Noah Gundersen’s ‘Carry The Ghost’, and a coke-bottle clear vinyl of Langhorne Slim’s ‘The Spirit Moves’.
Along with the special monthly vinyl release, the Dualtone staff also offer monthly #JoinTheDen giveaways. This new addition to the subscription has already featured an autographed deluxe edition of ‘Cleopatra’, and this month they’re offering a signed photo of Bruce Springsteen to go along with the July offering of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Nebraska’.
Golden Ticket giveaways are also a contest Dualtone is running every month as well. These prizes are more limited and pack a bigger punch. One subscriber will get a golden ticket in their package indicating they’ve won that month’s prize. July’s prize is an Audio Technica USB Turntable, and August will feature a pack of three test pressings from the Dualtone catalog.
