Mercury Prize 2016 Nominees Announced [Full List]
The Mercury Prize, which honors the UK's best albums has announced its 2016 nominees. “This is music to make sense of our unsettling times – heartfelt, angry, thoughtful and thrilling," the judges said in a statement. "The 2016 Hyundai Mercury Prize ‘Albums Of The Year’ are marked by their musical ambitions, unexpected instrumentation and breathtaking arrangements.”

Interesting timing since there’s still a lot of 2016 left to go. I dig the Radiohead album and really like what I’ve heard so far from the 1975’s latest release, it’s pretty good!
Couple of bands listed here that I haven’t heard of, and will definitely check out.
