BandLab adds D.I.Y. Music Licensing built on ReverbNation Sync
BandLab has added sync licensing to the suite of services it offers its global community of 60 million music creators.
BandLab Licensing enables artists to offer one-stop licensing of their music for use in film, TV, games, and advertising and extends streaming licenses to platforms seeking new rights-cleared content.
BandLab Licensing builds on ReverbNation’s Sync Licensing program, which has facilitated thousands of licensing placements with brands including Toyota, GEICO, Starbucks, SiriusXM, and CBS and on shows like Reservation Dogs, Disney+’s The Clauses, CW’s The Flash and WWE Raw.
This is BandLab’s first major step towards integrating the services of ReverbNation, which it acquired in November 2021, into its broader offering.
“The launch of BandLab Licensing marks a significant milestone in the expansion of offerings available to BandLab users,” said Meng Ru Kuok, CEO & Co-founder of BandLab Technologies. “It not only opens up new revenue streams for our creators and a new at-scale partner for the music supervisor and licensee community, but also strengthens our purpose to democratize and grow the value of music creation worldwide.”
