PWR BTTM Pulled Off Streaming Services, Dropped By Label, Managment After Sexual Assault Allegations
Once promising alt-rockers PWR BTTM has been pulled from the major streaming services and dropped by their label and management in the wake of sexual assault allegations against co-founder Ben Hopkins.

Identifying as gender non-binary, PWR BTTM had built a fanbase that enjoyed their rocking songs celebrating and sometimes poking fun of their sexual identities. A sophomore album, “Pageant,” was set for a major push starting Friday May 12th.
But a Facebook post changed everything.
Kitty Cordero-Kolin accused Hopkins of being a “known sexual predator… U should avoid going to their shows/boycott their music/not allow them in safe spaces… I have personally seen Ben initiate inappropriate sexual contact with people despite several ‘nos’ and without warning or consent.”
Shortly thereafter, two band members quit, as did the label and management. Here is what the label, Polyvinyl, said in statement on Facebook:
