Music NFT platform MusicFx launches with country star Parker McCollom
Blockchain platform provider CurrencyWorks has launched MusicFX.io, a new music NFT platform in partnership with music entrepreneur collective Crown & Ace.
CurrencyWorks has already established platforms to serve the growing demand for digital token services and collectibles including film-focused VUELE and Motoclub, a digital automotive collectibles site.
Platinum-selling country music artist Parker McCollum will be the first major musician to launch an NFT on the MusicFX platform. The singer-songwriter behind the platinum-selling single ‘Pretty Heart’ recently made his late-night television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.
Using Currency Works’ proprietary tech, MusicFX will enable fans to become invested in their favorite artists while giving artists the ability to build a new more connected relationship with their fans.
For the fan, MusicFX will act like an ultimate backstage pass, providing NFT based access to exclusive VIP events and experiences, priority tickets, and merchandise.
“We want to go beyond what other music NFT platforms are offering, and provide a space that builds a strong lasting relationship with the artists we work with, and allows them a more rewarding experience with their fan base,” said Billie-Jo Aasen, CEO of Crown & Ace.
