Spotify Refreshes Time Capsule Personalized Playlist

Spotify has updated its personalized Time Capsule playlist.

Tine Capsule is a collection of songs personalized based on the country the users lives in, the genres they enjoy, and how old they are.

The list of 50 songs is frequently refreshed with a new mix.

Earlier this year, Spotify shared how there’s been an uptick in the number of listeners who were seeking out music from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. As behavior science writer David DiSalvo said then, “Music, like smell, is one of those things with immediate access to that direct, nostalgic memory. It takes you back to that place.”
