BMG Production Music Rebrands: ‘Stock music doesn’t suck!’
BMG Production Music, which services film, broadcast, games and advertising has rebranded and launched a ‘Hidden Hit Makers’ initiative to showcase "the greatest tracks you’ve never heard of."
The Hidden Hit Makers concept showcases both BMGPM’s creative process and its behind the scenes clients.
"Stock Music Doesn't Suck"
Since its worldwide launch in 2017 BMGPM has acquired AXS Production Music (France) Immediate Music (US), Big Bang & Fuzz (Australia), Deep East Music (UK), Telemusic (France) and launched custom music business ‘Altitude Custom’, bringing together BMGPM and BMG talent.
At South by Southwest (SXSW), BMGPM launched Goodstock – the world’s first stock music festival styled as a regular new music event. The twist was that attendees from the creative industries didn’t know the setlist was entirely made up of production music.
BMGPM presented three performing artists – MOA, Caleb Hawley and Dave Cavalier, who feature on BMGPM’s artist series label The Den – as part of Goodstock, with a reveal at the end of the show that it had featured exclusively BMG production music,
John Clifford, SVP Global, Sales, Marketing & Repertoire at BMG Production Music, said: “Following the brilliant stunt that was Goodstock festival at SXSW, BMGPM continues to show it believes in the power of production music with this focussed rebrand and continued championing of Hidden Hit Makers.
