BMI Launches Unsigned Act Podcast and Promises More Podcast Licensing

BMI’s new podcast series, called "See It Hear First," features works from unsigned artists, including Jetpack, Astaire, somedaynew and Brendan James. The podcasts are geared towards the A&R people and producers and will be available on the BMI site and promoted with email blasts.

This is part of an entire BMI podcasting. Recently, the company began offering blanket licensing for public performance podcasts, offering one component of an overall licensing solution. Other licensing options are expected soon."
