Live Music Is Hot On The Net

Live music ranging from vintage concert clips to live broadcasts of local clubs and major festivals is spreading like wildfire across the net.  Big players and small are getting into the game via YouTube, Concertcrowd_2 cell phones and their own web sites.

It may almost be overload, but the trend does provide wonderful marketing opportunities for new music industry marketers with budgets ranging from zero to tens of thousands of dollars.  Indie acts are posting free fan made videos on YouTube, major acts are broadcasting their rehearsals, and everyone is trying to figure out what’s really having an impact.

The New York Times takes an in depth look here (free registration may be required) and we’d love to here what you are enjoying watching and working for you.  Comment below or email us.
