Angelica Cob-Baehler Named Head Of Virgin Publicity

Virginangelicacob_1Former Columbia Publicity VP Angelica Cob-Baehler has been appointed Sr. Vice President, Publicity for Virgin Records America. Based primarily in Los Angeles, Virgin_7 Cob-Baehler will head the department, directing Virgin Records’ two publicity offices in New York and Los Angeles. She will oversee all campaigns for Virgin Records artists and new releases, including current and imminent projects by Joss Stone, RBD, 30 Seconds to Mars, Meat Loaf and Stacie Orrico, among others. Cob-Baehler reports to Lee Trink, Virgin Records General Manager/COO.

ANGELICA COB-BAEHLER JOINS VIRGIN RECORDS AS SR. VICE PRESIDENT, PUBLICITY

NEW YORK Angelica Cob-Baehler has been appointed Sr. Vice President, Publicity for Virgin Records America, the label announced today.

Based primarily in Los Angeles, Cob-Baehler will head the department, directing Virgin Records’ two publicity offices in New York and Los Angeles. She will oversee all campaigns for Virgin Records artists and new releases, including current and imminent projects by Joss Stone, RBD, 30 Seconds to Mars, Meat Loaf and Stacie Orrico, among others. Cob-Baehler reports to Lee Trink, Virgin Records General Manager/COO.

For the five years just prior to her appointment at Virgin Records, Cob-Baehler had been Columbia Records’ Vice President of Publicity, responsible for running the west coast publicity department and for creating the media campaigns of such multi-platinum artists as John Mayer, System of a Down, The Offspring, and Switchfoot along with steering the campaigns of alternative music artists like The Raveonettes and Coheed and Cambria.

Previous to her work at Columbia Records, Cob-Baehler began her music industry career in 1993 at Atlantic Records, where she first worked with Jason Flom and Lee Trink in the successful career launches of Kid Rock, Sugar Ray and many others.
