POLL: MySpace Redesign

What do you think of the MySpace redesign that launched this week? Its a little cleaner and more sponsor friendly, but personally I’m unimpressed, but then I’m not 14. Check it out and tell us what you think.

I dig the new graphics and the improved menu, but that’s not really a significant change. I was hoping they’d move to using

tags for their layouts rather than the clunky harder-to-customize nested tables. Having blog entries imported or fed from another source (like WordPress), shows (from Sonicbids), and pictures (from Flickr, Picasa, or some other source) would be huge improvements. Of course, preventing people from loading up their obnoxious pages with flash would be a huge improvement too, but I guess that’s part of the appeal of myspace for most people.
