CD Baby Opens UK Office, Hires Orchard

CD Baby has opened an office in London, headed by Rich Orchard; who, given his name, really should be working at The Orchard. That aside, Orchard joins CD Baby as EU Director of Market Development.

Orchard comes via Absolute Label Services, where he was Head of Digital. Prior to that, he spent six years at Activision, where he dealt extensively with publishers on games like Guitar Hero Live.

Steve Cusack also joins the new UK office as Artist Relations and Promotions Representative. He will be part of the newly formed Creator Services department, which brings together Artist Relations & Promotions, Publishing, Sync Licensing, and Music Service Relations. The Creator Services department is an eight member team spread across the US, Argentina, Brazil and the UK.
