Pomplamoose: YouTube Helps Band Make A Living
Pamplamoose is Nataly Dawn and Jack Conte. They record their self-dubbed videosongs in Conte's childhood Brooklyn bedroom. Most are quirky covers of popular songs. The two play all the instruments and don't do a lot of takes. No hidden sounds. If they use an effect, they'll show it to you.
In September, their rendition of Beyonce's “Single Ladies” passed 2 million views. The band sold nearly 20,000+ downloads and their 10-track album entered the Billboard Indie chart. The major labels are calling, but the duo is thinking about staying independent. Let's hope that they do.

Bravo! As clever as the songs are, the videos are even better! Envious.
