ADA Vets David Orleans & Amy Dietz Promoted
WMG's indie distribution arm Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) announced today that David Orleans has been named General Manager and Amy Dietz has been named VP of Label Development. Orleans will continue to be based in Burbank and Dietz in New York with both will reporting to ADA President Mitchell Wolk.
Orleans joined ADA as West Coast Sales Manager shortly after its creation in 1993. His most recent position was SVP of Sales and Marketing. Dietz joined ADA in 1996 as a regional advertising manager in Minneapolis office and in 2001 moved to the New York office. Her latest position at ADA was as Director of Label Development.
In his new role, Orleans will work closely with Wolk in managing all areas of ADA's business including managerial, financial, business development and administrative operations. In addition, Orleans will also oversee the physical and digital sales efforts on behalf of ADA's label partners, including access to the company's sales analysis tools, and catalog, marketing development and college marketing teams.
Dietz will oversee ADA's label relationships and will work closely with existing labels to facilitate their album releases, sales strategies and overall strategic planning, while cultivating relationships with new label partners. Dietz will also take a much more active role in planning and managing ADA strategy, including the execution of the company's strategy to provide a more comprehensive suite of services for its label partners, including global physical and digital distribution services, merchandise sales, direct-to-consumer sales, and general sales and marketing services
