LaCroix: Penalties For File-sharing > Robbing A Bank
Jeremy LaCroix has written great short essay on IT News Today where he poses the question, on the media war, where to you stand?
From The Essay: "I think that it’s time that the media corporations get with the times. The average person can care less about the laws regarding their DVD or CD collection, much less buy a second copy of every CD if one desires to transfer their songs to a portable music player. The situation with media companies is ridiculous. Only in America are there harsher penalties for illegally downloading music than robbing a bank."
