Google Shuts Down Music Search

Google has pulled their music search feature, but plans to return with an update.

Given that Google is reported to be on the verge of launching a cloud music locker and store, this user experience revamp may reveal how it will be positioned in its own search results.

At present, Google is testing the service internally and if the company is able to work out their label deals it could launch soon. With Amazon unexpectedly bringing their own music locker to the market before Apple and Google, both are likely attempting to speed up negotiations with labels and respond soon.
