International Creative Management alum has officially launched his
long-rumored talent and literary agency, Resolution. Berg, who spent nearly 30 years at ICM, will helm the new agency.

His
executive team includes music agent/television producer Jeff Franklin,
formerly of ATI, as Chief Operating Officer; former WME Vice President
Laura Li as CFO; Randy Greenberg as Co-Head of Operations and Business
Development and Jon Gumpert as General Counsel and Head of Business
Affairs. Both Greenberg and Gumpert are former movie studio execs.

Others making the jump to Resolution include Terry Rhodes, who until
recently, was co-head of ICM's contemporary music unit and Steve
Schenck, formerly of Paradise Artists, who will helm Resolutions' music
division. Deadline is also reporting that Resolution has hired a number
of literary agents, including Rich Green and Shari Smiley from CAA and
Abram Nalibotsky from Gersh. Additional announcements regarding new
hirings are also expected in coming weeks.

Resolution will focus on the core functions of talent representation but
will also provide a wide range of financial and advisory services
including the sale of libraries and catalogues, financial transactions
for media companies, raising capital for independent and studio films,
providing restructuring advice and the sale and licensing of
independently financed films and television series to the domestic and
international markets.

Berg's launch of the new agency was backed by the Phoenix-based private
investment firm Najafi Companies, who, according to Deadline Hollywood,
which capitalized Resolution with as much as $200 million, which may
offer Berg significant latitude in acquiring the assets of smaller
agencies as he builds his company's own roster. via Celebrity Access
