EvntLive Raises $2.3 Million From Lady Gaga’s Troy Carter, Vint Cerf & More
We've been hearing about online concert startup EvntLive for months. Details on how they plan to differentiate themselves from a growing number of competitors have been scare, but today we learned that the company has raised $2.3 million in seed funding from a roster of investors including Lady Gaga and Johnny Legend manager Troy Carter.
Other investors in this round include Google Exec and 'Father of the Internet' Vint Cerf, Mayfield Fund partner Yogen Dalal, former Intel exec Dave House, Silicon Valley Connect's Ellen Levy, Tapjoy's Steve Wadsworth, Former Summit Partners' Walter Kortschak, Judy O’Brien, Jack Lasersohm, Roberta Katz and Amal Johnson.
What We Know About EvntLive
EvntLive will offer live and archived concerts, both free and pay per view via an HTML5 platform compatible with most devices. Unique artist pages and video that offers multiple camera angles are also planned, according to TechCrunch, who points to an impressive roster of tech talent assembled for development and launch.
