Bloom.fm Hits 100,000 User Milestone
Just 3 months after launch, UK based Bloom.fm, has
announced that 100,000 people have now registered and used the £1 a month
mobile music app. Bloom.fm combine
radio, on-demand streaming and a ‘borrow, enjoy, return’ system for
offline playback.
Boom.fm has the backing of leading major and independent record labels. The
service with 150+ curated, genre-specific radio options, plans to launch an Android app and desktop service in early
summer.
The startup says that over
half of its users are 25 or under, a demographic that has traditionally been
attracted to illegal services.
