Coheed and Cambria Saves Fan’s House From Foreclosure
Members of the band Coheed and Cambria has help one of their top fans avoid foreclosure of her home. Cyndi Crouch, who helps to run the band's Cobalt and Calcium fan page, was facing eviction and set up a crowdfunding page on gofundme.com seeking $3,500 to get current on her mortgage.
"If you can find it in your hearts to help us out, please, please do. At the very least we need all the prayers, positive vibes and thoughts as we can get. I wouldn't even ask for help if I weren't completely out of options and desperate to keep my kids from having to experience this. All our love in advance for your kindness,” Crouch wrote in her pitch for help on the crowdfunding website.
The band came to their fan's rescue and kicked in $3,000 to the fund, which helped Crouch to exceed her fundraising goal. In the comment accompanying the donation, a spokesperson for the band wrote: "Cyndi, You have been there for us for so long, we deeply appreciate your neverending support. You will get through this! Sincerely, Coheed and Cambria" – Celebrity Access
