Twitter Partners with Soundcloud To Add Music, Audio To Tweets
Starting today, select SoundCloud creators can use Twitter audio cards to share music and audio right in their followers’ Twitter timelines on iOS and Android by hitting a play button within the Twitter app. Other audio programs will be added and the new feature rolled out to all Twitter users "shortly."
Audiocards are not available on the desktop.
Twitter / Soundcloud audio card laucnh partners include David Guetta (@davidguetta), Steve Aoki (@steveaoki) and Zeds Dead (@whoszed).

What’s the difference between this and embedding a soundcloud file into a tweet? Nothing, so it’s useless.
This is great. Will definitely change marketing music. @Don’t Get It, looks like the difference is you’ll be able to play right from your twitter feed the song vs clicking on the link that will take you to an outside source.
