Rich Bengloff Steps Down As President Of A2IM

Bengloff can be credited with successfully steering the organization during the music industry's difficult transition from CD's to downloads and now streaming.

After eight and a half years of leading US independent label trade group A2IM, Rich Bengloff will be stepping down as President this summer. The board has begun a search to replace him and in the interim, Vice President Molly Neuman will serve as acting President.
Despite challenging times for the music industry, Bengloff grew A2IM membership to 360 independent labels and over 150 service providers.
“I considered my tenure as A2IM president as the greatest personal and professional honor of my career and thank our members for their trust and faith in me and the A2IM staff.," wrote Bengloff. "But believing in term limits, as exists for the A2IM board, it’s time for a fresh look. While the search for the next President ensues I will be advising and consulting during the transition and I hope to keep in touch with many of our members going forward."
