JJ Abrams Launches New Record Label ‘Loud Robot’
[UPDATED] Film and tv director and producer JJ Abrams has announced his Bad Robot production company is launching an independent record label. Abrams is best known for television shows "Lost" and "Alias" and films including "Mission Impossible III" and several in the Star Trek franchise.
Dubbed Loud Robot, the new record label is a partnership with Capitol Music Group and will be run by co-general managers McKee Floyd and Nicky Berger (manager of Childish Gambino, Phoenix, Grouplove, Grizzly Bear) and Charles Scott, Bad Robot’s leading music supervisor.
Although the label will act independently of Bad Robot, the company’s production arm will utilize original music from the label for placement in its film, television and gaming projects.
No word on artist roster.
Good luck!
