Mariah Carey Ex-Manager Claims Breach Of Contract, Details Emerge
[UPDATED] Mariah Carey was hit with breach of contract claims from her former manager, Stella Stopler, in a summons with notice filed on April 13 in Manhattan Supreme Court.
Details behind the complaint were not released with the filing, which you can read in full here.
Carey recently shared that she suffers from a bipolar disorder, first diagnosed in 2001 after a bizarre appearance on MTV’s “TRL."
The superstar singer is “a train wreck,” according the ex-manager's attorney Pierce O’Donnell, who says his client is owed millions of dollars in unpaid commissions and is a 50/50 partner in a production company with over a dozen projects in the works worth $100 million.
O’Donnell told The Blast that while the diagnosis is true, “the reason that she is in the position she is in now is she refused to take her medication. She is addicted to alcohol, prescription pills, and marijuana."
