TrumpMasterFlex: AI Turns Trump’s Tweets Into Playlists

TrumpMasterFlex attempts the impossible – making sense of Donald Trump's tweets. The app uses advanced AI technology Synthetic to analyze his tweets and pair them with a song of matching sentiment, and the results are both amusing and frightening.

The recent Trump tweet:

“Received message last night from XI JINPING of China that his meeting with KIM JONG UN went very well and that KIM looks forward to his meeting with me. In the meantime, and unfortunately, maximum sanctions and pressure must be maintained at all cost!” 

became David Bowie’s “Under Pressure” based on a "complex understanding" of the emotion and attitude of the initial tweet.

In another example:

“.@HowieCarrShow just wrote a book which everyone is talking about. He was a great help. He is a veteran journalist who had a great influence in NH and beyond. He calls it the most amazing political campaign of modern times. The book is called, “What Really Happened.” Enjoy! #MAGA”

is translated as the Disney classic “I Wan'na Be Like You (The Monkey Song)” from The Jungle Book.

 The songs are automatically posted to the @TrumpMasterFlex Twitter account. At the end of each week, all the songs are aggregated in the Trump Master Flex playlist on Spotify – a weekly soundtrack of the President’s tweets.
