Thor Tops Movie Box Office For Second Weekend, Orient Express #2

The weekend's returns brings the movie's global total above $650 million, surpassing first entry in the Thor franchise and within arm's reach of passing the sequel.

Taylor Swift First Day Sales Top 717K, Tour Announcement Planned [UPDATED]

Taylor-Swift Reputation[UPDATED] First day sales for Taylor Swift's new album "Reputation" topped 717,000, according to data gathered by BuzzAngle Music. "She's got a shot at 1.5M for the week given this," says BuzzAngle CEO Jim Ledestri. That makes it the biggest first day release so far in 2017.

T Swift Legal Rep Tries To Quash Critical Blog Post With Bogus Defamation, Copyright Claims

1It's release day for Taylor Swift's new album "Reputaion," but all is not right win Swift World, after a blogger wrote a post concerning her "unofficial position as a white supremacist hero." Although said post didn't go so far as to suggest Swift has encouraged the belief, it was enough to spur her legal team into demanding the removal of the offending post, claiming it as defamatory and filled with "malicious lies".

Musical.ly and Live.ly Sold For $800M - $1B To China's Bytedance

Musical.lyMusic video app Musical.ly and sister app Live.ly has been sold to Chinese media giant Bytedance. The deal is worth between $800 million and $1 billion, according to multiple sources. A division of Bytedance aquired Musical.ly rival Filpagram earlier this year.
