Chance The Rapper Declares “SoundCloud is here to stay,” Debuts Track With Young Thug Exclusively On Streamer
After reading multiple reports that SoundCloud was just weeks from running out of cash, Chance The Rapper tweeted, "I'm working on the SoundCloud thing." The tweet led to a call between the hugely successful indie rapper and SoundCloud co-founder Alex Ljung followed by a surprise major track release.

After a call with SoundCloud CEO Alex Ljung , Chance The Rapper tweeted: “Just had a very fruitful call with Alex Ljung. @SoundCloud is here to stay.”
Chance has often used SoundCloud as a place to share his music, and openly said that it was important in building his early career. Despite increasing signs that the music streamer is struggling, Chance continued that tradition on Friday night, debuting "Big B's," a collaboration with Young Thug, exclusively on SoundCloud.
It appears that Chance The Rapper was convinced by his call with Ljung that SoundCloud has plan to move forward, and the "Big B's debut is a vote of confidence. But it's also plausible that the young rapper has more plans for SoundCloud, with "Big B's" just his first step. Chance has been wildly successful in ways that most thought impossible, including three Grammy wins in 2016 as an independent artist, including Best Rap Album for "Coloring Book," the first ever streaming-only album to win the award
Here are the two tweets that are fueling speculation, as well as, the new track.
