I love my wireless Sonos speakers, but the app has always left a bit to be desired. Now Sonos is attacking the problem on two fronts – the ability to control the system directly from your favorite music apps (Spotify integration is coming next month), and a major app upgrade.

Reflecting changes in how users consume music, Sonos has updated its app to make finding and playing playlists and other music faster and easier. Users can now tap a playlist, song or album and it plays instantly, instead of having to select “Play Now” or “Play Next.”And when that song or playlist ends Sonos will now immediately play whatever is next.
