Reaction To Apple Music’s “From The Ground Up” Makeover
It will be a few months before the average user will get to use the new Apple Music app which has been rebuilt "from the ground up” just one year after it launched. But developers and members of the press got a first look yesterday, and here is what they had to say.

TechCrunch: "Simple And Inviting"
"The new update is bright and simplistic, getting rid of the clutter found in the last version, something that should make it much more delightful to use. Instead of shoving a million songs in your face, the new version steps into the background, letting you actually interact with your music. The redesign actually feels like the old iPad app – simple and inviting. "
Wired: Clean And Karaoke Friendly"
"One of the biggest knocks on Apple Music is that it tries to do too much. Well, it’s still going to do a lot, but the goal of an upcoming redesign is to do it all in a more intuitive way. A major redesign prioritizes the features its 15 million-plus subscribers use the most."
Engadget: "Easier to find the songs you want."
"We'll reserve final judgement until we can spend some quality time with the updated version of the streaming service, but on the surface, the refreshed interface and reorganization should make Music less of a chore to use."
Apple Press Release: All-New Design for Apple Music & News
Apple Music has an all-new design, bringing greater clarity and simplicity to every aspect of the experience. It uses a new design language that allows the music to become the hero and a new structure that makes it easy to navigate and discover new music. The Library, For You, Browse and Radio tabs have been completely redesigned to provide an even greater sense of place, and we’ve added a Search tab to make finding music even easier. All of these changes come together to create a design that is clear and intuitive. iOS 10 features a redesigned News app with a new For You, organized into distinct sections that make it easier to find stories, support for breaking news notifications and paid subscriptions.
