Downtown Music’s Songtrust Hires, Promotes 3
In an ongoing effort to enhance its offering as a service and the technology division of Downtown Music Publishing, Songtrust has announced three new hires and promotions.
- Grace Carey has joined the Songtrust team as a Developer, where she will be contributing code to build and maintain the Songtrust application. Her responsibilities will include full-stack development and dev-ops work. Carey brings 5 years of experience developing applications with a focus on usability. Most recently, she was a full-stack developer VaynerMedia, where she helped build a suite of internal business and reporting tools.
- Michael Lorenz, formerly a Junior Developer, has been promoted to Product Manager, where he will be working closely with Songtrust’s Operations and Development teams to expedite releases, improve the quality of software, and spearhead new features for clients across all of Downtown’s platforms.
- Kyle Thiede has been promoted Manager, Publishing Operations. In his new role, Thiede’s will maintain and develop client relations and partnerships, as well as collaborate with Development to build new features and drive system quality. Prior to working at Songtrust, Kyle worked at BMG Rights Management and EMI-Sony/ATV.
All three will be reporting to Downtown’s VP of Tech and Songtrust GM, Joe Conyers III.
