TomorrowWorld Cancelled As SFX Death Spiral Accelerates
The message from SFX in recent days has been that by selling "non-core assets" like Beatport and Fame House and focusing on their core business of producing big EDM fests, they would right the bankrupt ship. But yesterday, we got word they're cancelling one of their flagship festivals.

After a soggy 2015 event, that left festival-goers stranded in the mud overnight, and the bankruptcy of parent SFX Entertainment, organizers for the dance music festival TomorrowWorld said the event has been cancelled for 2016.
In a post on the festival's Twitter page, organizers for the event wrote:
“Dear Friends, it’s with a heavy heart that we inform you, TomorrowWorld will not take place in 2016.
"We will miss seeing each other in September and experiencing the magic of TomorrowWorld as one. You, the People of Tomorrow, the foundation of TomorrowWorld, are our inspiration."
"Let’s lock and cherish all the magnificent memories in our hearts, this is not farewell…"
The annual festival, which has been held in the south Fulton County city of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia.
The 2015 edition of the festival faced significant organizational challenges after heavy rains soaked the festival grounds on Saturday. Attendees reported sleeping on the ground when transportation snafus at the event left them facing miles-long walks to parking areas. Organizers closed the final day of the festival to all except those who had camped on site due to the weather. – via CelebrityAccess
