How Teens Consume Media: Music Still Trumps Social [CHART]
According to data from Common Sense Media, teens are consuming media much like they always have, but the delivery vehicle has changed. Video viewing has moved from TV to YouTube and music consumption from CDs to Spotify. But fortunately for us, teens are still teens, and they still love their tunes.

the lines are a little blurrier than this chart indicates. for instance, steam allows online gamers to chat while playing. also, teens have not abandoned tv, cds, or even radio…techies love to say that, but it’s not true. they haven’t abandoned anything, they have expanded where/how they listen to music, which isn’t the same thing.
They also love downloading free ebooks too! If it’s digital and its free … it’s for teens! Check out OBOOKO, which has a ton of ebooks just for teens. My two teenage daughters use this platform all the time and some of the books (especially the high school romance stuff) I read myself!
