Kid Rock Thanks Fans With $20 Ticket Tour

image from cdn.songonlyrics.comKid Rock is not known as a progressive, either politically or when it comes to digital music. It took until November 2012 before he allowed new releases to be sold on iTunes. But from the start, he has been a leader in one core portion of the new music industry paradigm: to know and serve your fans.

So, this summer Kid Rock hits the road for a tour of that's sure to cement his relationship with fans on a budget.

Promoted by Live Nation, tickets for all seats and all sections for the
tour will be offered for just $20 dollars. In addition, steps are being taken at all tour dates to lower
the prices for everything from beer and merch to parking. Venues will be offering $4 dollar draft beers and value food packages for the
tour.

The tour is  partnering with some Wal-Mart locations to offer twenty
dollar "all in" tickets that include ticket fees and parking.

The tour kicks off on June 28th at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia
and will run through September 15th at the Live Nation Amphitheatre in
Tampa, Florida with three special shows at the DTE Energy Music Theatre
in Kid Rock's hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Kool & The Gang, ZZ
Top, and Uncle Kracker are confirmed as support acts on select dates.

Kid Rock is touring in support of his 10th album, Rebel Soul and will be
promoting the tour with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 8th
as well as appearing with Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino on Piers
Morgan Live on April 12th.
