Hypebot Debuts The Upward Spiral Podcast

Hypebot is proud to present The Upward Spiral Podcast, which features Kyle Bylin of Live Nation Labs (and former Hypebot Editor), music industry consultant Jason Spitz (Former Director of Marketing at Topspin), and Hypebot's own Hisham Dahud (also of Fame House). The three have started this podcast as a platform for conversations regarding interesting topics and issues that are facing the music industry.

They each come from different backgrounds and bring unique and diverse perspectives to the table. They don't always agree, but they're all passionate about the future of music, and we think you'll enjoy listening to their insights. Look for new episodes every two weeks, plus guest appearances from other music biz luminaries.

Mobile Roadie just announced that they're offering free mobile websites. MobBase launched a free HTML5 app creator. The overall trend is moving away from traditional computers and towards mobile devices, especially with the “Millennial” generation.

Shazam, Soundtracking, and Earbits have taken major steps in bridging the gap between artists and fans by introducing features that encourage fans to engage with artists beyond the service itself.
